I am going in starting of April in Fuerteventura. Would you suggest if there are any snorkeling spots which are less deep and calm with sea life. First time snorkeling 😅
The location in the video is quite shallow, otherwise you could try the lagoons in El Cotillo.

The best place to snorkel with rays is from the beach in front of the La Farola del Mar restaurant in Morro Jable. There can be a bit of a swell in January, so you should be cautious. A wetsuit is also advisable as the sea will be a little cold at that time of year. Unfortunately access to the very best snorkelling spot on the island (at the base of the outside of the east pier of Morro Jable port) has been closed off to the public, so to get there will require a long swim from the beach (fins advisable).
